    Russian Time endured a tough opening day in the Styrian mountains as the F2 championship moved from the streets of Baku in Azerbaijan to the very different scenery of the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria.
    After recording 10th and 12th quickest times respectively in morning practice, Luca Ghiotto (1m14.180s) and Artem Markelov (1m14.534s) qualified eighth and 15th respectively as both encountered problems with traffic.

    Artem Markelov and Luca Ghiotto achieved a double points finish for Russian Time in the Baku sprint race. Artem finished in sixth place after his fourth in Saturday's feature race (after Oliver Rowland's penalty), and Luca turned in a fighting drive to claim the final point for eighth after starting 16th on the grid!

    Artem Markelov finished a fighting fifth in another hectic Baku feature race that saw two Safety Car interventions, a Virtual Safety Car period and ultimately a red flag five laps before the end of the scheduled 29.

    Team mate Luca Ghiotto, who crashed in qualifying and was at the back of the grid, adopted a reverse strategy by starting on the prime tyre but the timing of the Safety Car interventions and a problematic pit stop worked against the Italian, who was classified 16th.

    Russian Time will face a tough task defending its lead in the F2 Teams' championship after Luca Ghiotto crashed early in qualifying for the fourth round of the series around the streets of Baku in Azerbaijan. Team mate Artem Markelov, meanwhile, will start the race fifth on the grid.
