Russian Time endured a character-building time in the feature race at Malaysia's Sepang circuit. First, Artem Markelov's car stopped with an electrical problem on the formation lap, putting the young Russian, who had qualified 10th, out of the race before it had started.
Then, after a fine start from third on the grid had seen Raffaele Marciello briefly lead, a problematic tyre stop limited him to a sixth place finish.

Raffaele Marciello kept up the pressure on his Prema Racing championship rivals with second place in his home race at Monza.
The circumstances of an incident-packed race worked out well for Lello but not for team mate Artem Markelov, who started from the front row after Antonio Giovinazzi had his qualifying time disallowed. Artem made light contact with pole man Pierre Gasly on lap 1, damaging his front wing in the process. Trying to defend hard, he went down the escape road twice before pitting for prime tyres and recovering to finish 10th.
